Setup Common Services

When we run uvuyo as a Service we need to setup the common services first. The common services are the services that can be shared among multiple uvuyo installations. The common services are the elasticsearch database and the kafka messaging service. The current version of kafka needs a zookeeper service so that we have in total three common services which need to be setup.

Uvuyo has been designed to support tenants. This allows you to multiple uvuyo installations sharing the same common services. The resources used in the common services will then use namespaces to separate the different installations. You specify the tenant which a uvuyo node runs in by using the –uvuyo.tenantid=<tenantid> flag on the command line, by setting the UVUYO_TENANDID environment variable or by setting the uvuyo.tenantid configuration variable. Resources created in the common services will then be prefixed with the specified tenantid.
